My daughter has today completed an update of my website. The images were made between 1953 and 2009.

Please let me know if there are any problems with the website.

Thanks,
Merg

Merg, it's rare that I take the time to look through every image on anyone's site, but your photographs just drew me in. What a fantastic body of work...congratulations, and it's a beautiful website worthy of the portfolios within.

Your Daughter did a fine job on your site Merg Ross,I like the fact that once you enlarge a photo its marked to get back to the portfolio.I have visited sites that once you enlarge the print you can't find a way back. The photographs are very beautiful,Portfolio 2 has some abstract photos I like and from 1953,you were ahead of your time, very nice.

Some marvelous images and a very nicely done site. The one trivial suggestion I might have for the webbery would be to have the 'next' link at the top of the page so it doesn't move up and down with different picture heights. Of course, having to move the mouse a bit may help the viewer linger on the image.

I think it's a good site design & works well. There are some excellent photos there, I particularly enjoyed looking at
Barn Doors 1970
Saxaphone 1984
Torn Chair Seat 2000
White Shoes 2006

goldie, thank you. Your choice of favorites is interesting; the last three are also among mine. However, I am curious as to how Barn Doors relates to that group. Perhaps it doesn't, and that is the fascination. Thanks for looking.

Merg, it's elegantly simple and very fast. Wonderful collection of photography, too.

I like how your work spans such a huge (to me) period of time.

Most of your pictures (photographs) could have been taken in the 1950's or yesterday just the same. That fascinates me. There's something timeless about your work.

Thanks for the observation. I have never thought about the timeless aspect of my work, however you make a good point. It spans 57 years. I would like to think that you are addressing a particular way of seeing; to me, that would be the ultimate achievement for an artist.

Thanks for having a look, and commenting.
