Weather where you are

Heck no! You'll need to fight us for our water. Great Lakes Pact.

Another typical December day on the Left Coast: Rainy. Great weather to either retire to the darkroom and do some processing, or parking it in the Lay-Z-Boy with a book and some Earl Grey.

I'm moving to Canada, just to warm up. Here in eastern Iowa we are in a mess of snow, frigid temps minus 27 C tonight. Before that wet heavy snow. We made the national news last night with a huge wreck on Interstate 80, blowing snow causing terrible road conditions. I have a all wheel drive Subaru, and a set of winter tires and wheels, so I can get around ok. I have 3 feet of snow at my mailbox from city plows and my snow blower.
Still we are doing well compared to the Eastern seaboard that got clobbered with snow earlier this week.

Heading for 90F today and brutally sunny and humid. Too hot to photograph outdoors so a bit of work in the airconditioned darkroom is in order.

Hunkering down for a snow storm that is supposed to hit us tonight, but the weather forecasters haven't been very accurate with snow predictions lately. Guess we might get a couple of inches or so...

I came to rely on my regional NWS Twitter feed.

Maybe this one would work for you?

(for other locations, the syntax is @NWS{main city near you})

Well, as I type, it is -24C outside with a windchill of -34C. I staying inside for a few days

Another snowy hot chocolate day. Life is good.

Shorts and sandals since two days... Two weeks ago it was still freezing all day.

We have an unusual monsoon, a boat load of moisture from the east rather than from the Sea of Cortez, in my neck of the woods in the Phoenix Metro area, Scottsdale, 4 to 5 inches, other parts of the county got just under 2 inches. We live near the ribbon park that run the length of the wash, it's been underwater past 3 days. Temperatures have been 20 to 30 degrees below normal. Too bad, it will not brake the drought, we need snow pack.

Rain is rain in my book. I’ll take what we can get in far north Arizona.

We'll gladly take some of your sun and send you back some rain here in Cumbria, England.

It's just before noon, it's 97F clear, we will likely top out at 104 or 5, maybe more rain next few days,

Sunny one day, gloomy the next. A repeating cycle in Melbourne AUS. 15 degrees celcius is about the average....whatever that works out to in farenheit.

Mini hurricane conditions possible this weekend southeast Massachusetts.

I am tempted to take a beater camera out in the storm, heavy rain...

We just got through one of the wettest monsoons in a very long time, heavy rains, local flooding, worse in the mountains. Today nice weather for pictures.

I went to the ocean side beach for pictures, the guards did not allow the access I wanted. First Holga outing!

The wind @jnantz will be a factor with outages, and north of you, flood?
