Weather where you are

3C with a light rain, this am. Hopefully, the steady drizzle will serve to melt away the previous two days' of snow that fell atop the mountain. Slushy and icy in spots; driving home last night was an "interesting" experience. More rain in the forecast for the next few days. Oh well, Tri-X @ 1600 in a Nikon F2, it is.

We're getting pretty beat up with the wind here, I'm hoping the maple in my side yard comes through the roof.

Started the day with a bit of light rain; by 11 am, the rain ceased, and the sun broke through the clouds. A mere 90 minutes later, the clouds returned; by 4 pm, the snow was back. So, with an F5 (w/28-70 F2.8) loaded with E100VS, and an F2AS (w/50mm F1.4 Ais) loaded with Tri-X, it's out the door first thing in the am. Given lemons...

What's the weather doing where you are? Here in West Cornwall, England it's about 70F and raining quite hard.

Today is March 8, 2017. Today blue sky, some cloudiness, azeleas are in full bloom as are dogwoods. Dafodils are about bloomed out. It is Spring here folks.......Regards!

Was - 32c here the other morning when I got up, wouldn't think of pulling my Willie out in that kind of weather
In England, we have a saying "cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey"...It actually refers to a metal object which held cannonballs in place on a warship (the metal contracts when it freezes, and the cannonballs then roll all over the place), not what you might think.

Don't you like your roof?

Umbrella weather this am out here on the Left Coast (i.e. Out the door shortly with an F2 loaded with some EI 1600 Tri-X).

Oh, wow. I've heard that phrase ever since I was a kid and now I know what it really means. Thanks!

It's totally crazy here (just north of Washington, DC)...

A couple of days ago we had highs in the low 70s (21°C).

Now (midnight), it's about 20°F (-7°C).

We've had rain, have rain, and will be getting more rain. Nice, but soggy.

Wind storm last night kept me from developing negs. I am developing 8x10 in Jobo 3005 drums and 5x7 in Jobo's 3006 drum...from a recent desert trip. If the power went out I could continue by rolling the drum on a table top and all that, but why risk it -- I'd rather sit and listen to the wind!
