-25C in Calgary. With windchill -35C. Take a tinkle outside and it's frozen (the pee that is) before it hits the ground.
Guess you'll be keeping your clothes on then Eric...

Got quite a lot of snow here over the weekend. The most I've seen since moving here in '02. Quite beautiful on the trees and mountains...but not on my driveway. Snow warning for later today. Joy. Shoveling snow is getting really old.

Miserable slush, with bits of frozen rain for those slightly to the east of us.

full out blizzard here
probably 6 or 7 inches on the ground now
howling wind ( they say 45mph )
sections of the interstate ( 95 ) closed down
thunder+lightening knocked power out for a split second too.

its no blizzard of 78, or even a few years ago, but it is wet enough that i worry
heavy ice will be on all the power lines and trees causing trouble.

One of these days I want to see a tornado - from a distance. They are so evil looking. Must be a Wizard of Oz thing.

Snow since early this morning probably 10 inches/250mm + or - when it's done.
Cold enough that it's dry and fluffy, as opposed to wet and slushy.

Raining and flooding and muddy and gloomy. I'm very ready for some Spring sunshine. Big tree went down in our yard and made a big mess. a monterey pine well over 100 feet tall. Fortunately it didn't land on anything or anybody but it's going to be a huge job to clean it up. Pretty sure it took out a fence, but I haven't gone out in the deluge to look closely yet.

Wacky.

Earlier this week, as Matt said, lots of snow. Finally switched to rain about midday yesterday (Wednesday). Then, this morning (Thursday), lots of rain, with a thunderstorm that rolled through around midday. After that, showers and sunbreaks with lots of wind. Enough to knock the power out for about 30 seconds this afternoon. Big improvement over early Monday morning, when it was knocked out at 1:10 am and didn't come back on until 9 am. Tomorrow, supposed to be a little cooler, showery and still kinda windy. This weekend into early next week, partly-mostly sunny and mild.

Incredibly hot and sunny. A long succession of days hitting 90F or more. Today may go to 100F on the coast and 120F inland. Phew, time to spend the day in the airconditioned darkroom.

The opposite to Maris...cold and horrible here in Northern Ireland. Barely above freezing and a bit of wind chill and dampness in the air means it's just very unpleasant to be outside. Night-time now, the plan tomorrow is to spend some time in the heated darkroom.

Expecting some heavy rain the next few days, going to attach some water-wings on my Hasselblad.

Was - 32c here the other morning when I got up, wouldn't think of pulling my Willie out in that kind of weather

Freaking cold. For the first time fingers were so numb I couldn't feel the shutter release on my F3/T: wonder why it didn't work, only to find my finger wasn't even on it. Camera seemed to work though.

Interesting thick freezing fog (low 30s) this morning, turned into sun early -- now partly cloudy mid-day (mid-50s).

Going back to cool and unstable weather. Probably wasn't a good idea to wear a t-shirt and a vest this afternoon and evening. But, alas, all my fleece sweatshirts were in the wash.

Speaking of snow, western Washington is under a winter weather advisory... 1-3" expected by 10 am before it switches to rain.

Friday-76f. Saturday-high was 54 at six AM, thunder storm, turning colder throughout the day. Today-SNOW. It's late February, and should have snow, lots of snow, never should have been in the 70's. My fruit trees budded out, now they are freezing, for the third year in a row, hopefully I don't lose the fruit--again.
