This isn't an original idea. It's the first time I've tried it. I find it quite handy, although the meter is much taller than a typical wristwatch and I think I might eventually snag it on something.
I printed it in PETG, but when I change out the filament to reinforced nylon I'll make one out of that and see how it turns out.

Almost the size of my Tessina on a watch band, but its light meter is broken.

Could be nice for an auxillary viewfinder, also. Although as you say, snagging on things could be be an issue.

Could bring new life to the lost art of clown cuffs to protect them!

I have something very similar for my Reveni "sugar cube" light meter. I prefer it mounted on the camera, but the wrist strap works, too.

What exposures are you getting from the inside of your coat pocket?

You can take photos with Apple iWatch...are there lightmeter apps that it can run?

My Minolta meters are wearable...on a lanyard around the neck. 😋

??? What have I missed here?

Thanks

I don't know what you've missed, perhaps you've been cocooned from cold weather, not needing to put your hands in your pockets while wearing a light meter on your wrist, maybe you've never needed to wear gloves? Well good for you, keep sipping your Pina Colada, and don't worry about wearing a light meter on your wrist while a large percentage of the population of the Northern Hemisphere are now thinking about Winter. As regards the invention, great, so long as none of the above apply.

OK. I had just presumed that the gloved hand only needed to taken out of the pocket when the shooter was ready to check the light levels and take the picture when depending on the size of the glove it can be rolled away from the wrist if so required If the climate is so cold that this is dangerous then it is likely to be dangerous to try and handle even a camera

Still every to his or her own as they say

What is wrong with you people? Who's wearing gloves? I live in southernmost Canada and I don't wear gloves when I'm using a camera.

I hadn't thought of putting a gloved hand in a pocket, I often take a glove off first because I have a warm coat, thank you for sharing. I mean I just made the original comment because if anything rubs up against the meter it could cause it to take a reading or the dials will rotate and the buttons may get pressed. It was a simple observation that cuffs, pockets, gloves, etc could possible cause the settings to change, and I had no idea you could take it so, so seriously.

Maybe because it seemed to be written in an intense, earnest and if I may say, a slightly dismissive way? That's the way it came across to me. If I got you wrong then OK
