...

this is just for fun!

I was looking in old images, and stumbled upon the very first images, I did with a nude model..

My twin brother had started this in another city; claiming that he needed the images for his painting....

well - I thought, if he could do it, so could I..

I was studying at the music academy at that time, and I was so shy..
But I had a thing for one of my fellow students - an opera singer to be.

So at a party, I pulled my self together, and asked her, if sh would like to be my model.

"yes"

... nude model?

"yes"

and thus my career in nude photography began.

as the images show, I had NO idea what I was doing.....

but I am eternally gratefull for this girls acceptance!
Had she said no, I would proberly have been working ina bank by now

Do you also have your "first" on record?
if so, then show us!

just for the fun of it...

PS: gotta love the watch on the second image

Hi Emil,

Definitely heartening for all us to see where you came from. Still hope for those of us like myself who think of doing nude photography themselves, but haven't yet had the time or dare to do it...

Can't contribute on the nude photography field here, but as a slightly of-topic, one of my early nude drawings made in art classes. All in the comfort of a group, so less embarrassing... Had some difficulty getting the proportions right, the legs are to short, but I still like it.

My first nude was made with someone who is now an 'ex'. It's actually a nice photo, but I promised not to show it on the internet so unless you're in London you don't get to see it!

understandable.
how long ago?

did you have a long experience in "general" photography before that event?

About three years ago. Before then I followed a traditional landscape-centric path making lots of boring photos with just enough gems in the sea of mediocrity for me to think I was doing something worthwhile...
