I can't find much information about WD2D, but lots on WD2D+. I have read posts discussing the colour of the stain, but there is no mention of the film type or other characteristics of this developer.

I mixed up some WD2D for developing APHS film (to make large negs), but is it only used to control inherently contrasty film?

I made up quite a bit, and want to use it before it goes off. Any help much appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks Steve - great information. I didn't think to look at the Formulary site. I mixed up the developer from scratch using the formula listed in Bob Herbst's article on enlarged negs using APHS film.

Best wishes, Lyn.
