Hello Photrio,

last night I was chopping my freshly developed 35mm strips to stick into sleeves. Unfortunately I mishandled one strip and took the whole thing by both ends, there was water that had accumulated at the bottom end and it went dripping on the first two frames.
After hanging the strip back to dry I saw that the small bit of water that had run down the first couple of frames had left a mark on the side of the emulsion, It tried rewetting the entire strip and dry, no difference. Today I tried a bath of acetic acid + rinse, the water mark is still there.

What do I do next please?

Not sure what to suggest but you really must ensure the film is completely dry before cutting it up. The emulsion is very easily damaged if even slightly damp.
