If anyone is wandering through Warwick RI feel free to go to the Public Library
main branch and check out oodles of photographs I put on the wall,
Also feel free to bring your kids ( or yourself ) to the Children's room on the 3rd floor
and get some coloring book pages I made of the photographs that are on the wall.
( there Aug 1-31 )

Great idea A pity that more photos are not on U.K library walls. The pleasure is in the photos. They do not need 4 feet of space and fancy frames per pic. May I ask what's involved with making colouring book pages from photographs.

Thanks

hi pentaxuser > thanks !
there are 2 methods, super-easy !!
most modern ink or laser printers have a display screen
and you can cycle down the pre-programmed modes and
there might be one called "coloring book" and it will convert to hard line images
i did it a round about way by changing the tonality and contrast and then went to "threshold" and adjusted the slider
my printer cost 85 USD so its not a expensive printer item ...

Thanks for the reply, jnantz I suspect my ultra cheap HP Deskjet printer 2510 does not have this facility

IDK pentaxuser what IE software do you use? if you type in how do i make coloring pages
in the go-ogle-mister there are simple u-toobe tutorials that you can probably do with gimp or any IE sofware you might have.
careful, its kind of addictive

Thanks jnantz. I found an article. It looks quite complicated but probably only because I have zero experience with scanning.
