Warm or cold b&w print tones?

Do you prefer you prints with the warmer tones look or the colder one?

I would prefer a warn tones but since Agfa Record Rapid disappearance, I don't care that much.

For me depends from the mood I want to present in the photo. Usually I get warm look (because I have warm papers more available), but some pictures are just better in cold blue. When I make prints for somebody I am trying to get neutral look.

Neither. I prefer my prints in a neutral tonality. The ones that go on a wall all have a similar tone, which I find especially important when I hang a show.

I prefer warmer tones and will vary the warmth depending on the image.

I prefer a neutral black tone. But since that is often hard to obtain then a slightly warm black is preferal to a cold black.

I print all of my 'casual' prints on Pemberstone Multigrade Warmtone RC (Satin)- I just love it. If I print on fiber I use Art300 which has the same coating.

These are my favourites. I love warmtone.

I had a brief period of warmtone but I'm back now... need to buy some gold toner for blue black tones.

Neutral to ever so slightly warmtone for me. I'm more of a purist and thats just me.

Personally I don't like overly warm toned prints, it makes em look like shit.

It depends on the photograph, but generally neutral.

Fomatone in Harman selenium goes chocolate brown, Fomabrom purple-brown.
