Hi! Moving up from 8x10. I'm interested in buying an ultra large format camera to shoot with. Any condition, with or without lens. Ideally 20x24, but 8x20 or similar is great too. Please private message me if you have a lead on one. Thanks! www.sabu.ca
I'm in Toronto, Canada, but will travel, ship or have it picked up anywhere.
I've got an 11x14 pinhole camera that I made from a cardboard box that I could sell you, heh.
Honestly though you should really decide what you want first, arbitrarily choosing ULF without a goal for WHY or what format seems like a recipe for disaster.
I shoot many formats but when I go into a format I choose the format, I don't let the first format that's available simply be the one I choose, as this is certainly expansive, if you choose some arbitrary 17.5x30 pano banquet camera someone designed in 1912 then you need to source a lens or two, and the film, and the holders, and be able to process it. Heck, the holders and film source are more important to me than the camera, you can get any camera size, but finding holders and film are much harder IMO.
