Why not? But it really doesn't matter. He's dead. The real question is when will we stop asking this question?

It just doesn't matter in the long run. In fact, many photographers I know who shoot digitally for commercial work, are moving back to film for their personal work.

Let's let Mr Ritts lie in peace.

He'd be shooting digital with his RZ, of course.

Don't know, but I bet Stieglitz and Ansel would be digital by now.

Not to cause a ruckus or anything.

Thanks Walter... David and HKR for the reply...

Peace
Eric

Who cares?

I shoot what I want as long as I can get the products that produce good photos. When, and if, the day comes when I can no longer get film, I will change. In the meantime the rest of the world can be a testbed for the darkside and I will skip over buying products that produce sub par images vis a vi film and have to be replace every two or three years because of new improvements or poor designs.

Don't know, don't doubt it, don't care.

All I care about is that I shoot film because I like it.

I'm not a pro so I don't have to make a decision for business purposes.

I'm an amateur and get to shoot what I want to shoot - and it's film.
