Know of a black barrel Nikkor-PC 105/2.5 non-AI for $159. Glazer's Camera in Seattle, WA has it. Looks to be nice. Tried it out on a Nikkormat FT2.

Are you 100% against owning anything that's factory AI'd? Reason I ask, there is a 300/4.5 Nikkor-H at another shop that I previously owned. Was a decent lens for film photography. Has the factory AI ring on it, but with the period correct solid coupling shoe. Also is Nippon Kogaku and has the period correct caps on it as well. Silver metal Nikkor 72N cap, and Nippon Kogaku rear cap. $149.50, IIRC for that one.

Personally, the only non-AI stuff I have are a couple F bodies and a Nikomat FTn that was just overhauled and converted to 1.5 volt. One of the F's is going to be listed here in a few minutes, and the Nikomat is listed, but is an old ad.

I have a 43-86mm f/3.5 Zoom-Nikkor C I'd part with cheaply. I haven't actually used it as I'm more of a prime shooter these days.

I also have a 24mm 2.8 AI lens... picked it up here a while ago. Nice lens but its a hair too wide for me. I'm sitting on a 35mm 2.0 and 28mm 2.8 (pre-AI, partially converted); one of those two will probably be my replacement for the 24mm but I haven't been shooting with an SLR enough to know which yet.

I have no problems with AI-converted lenses because I can use them on my FG, as long as it has the meter-coupling bayonet. I have a 35 f2.8 that's factory converted.

55mm f3.5 Micro Nikkor-P pre-AI

I have a very nice 55mm f3.5 micro Nikkor-P with its matching M2 extension tube. Serial is 677933. I bought it because it was part of the first group of lenses that were NIC multicoated and it was "the sharpest lens for general photography available" according to Moose Peterson in his Nikon System Handbook. It had something of a cult following. It is probably worth $75-95 and is a very nice lens for anyone who appreciates the feel and look and build quality of the early Nikkors. I'm open for a trade if this is of any interest to you.

I wished, it's a later version of the 35 2.8. Rubber focusing ring. I think it's actually a factory AI lens with a bayonet on it. I'll have to get a shot of it one day.

That 35 is a crazy good lens. I have 2 and so sharp, no distortion.

I got a 105 now, finally, my dream lens.

Still looking for a cheap 300 f4.5 pre-AI single coat, have good Minolta AF stuff to trade. 70-210 f4 beercan (you gotta put cash on top or another lens for it) 35-70 f4 7xi and Maxxum 4 body, 35-70 f3.5-4.5 and a 70-300 promaster LD (same design as tamron)
