Want to Buy wanted leica "Filca" cassettes.

Hi everybody. I'm looking for three to four leica "filca" cassettes (the screwmount versions not the IXMOO m leica versions) for my leica II. Hopefully that will avoid the issue I'm having with the sprocket holes getting into the image since the spools in modern cassettes are too small.
Hopefully somebody out there has some they don't need at a reasonable price. My only request is that they are in full working order.

Sorry I can't help you with the cassettes, but I shoot Leica IIIs (A and C), and I find that loading factory-spooled film so that it seats properly behind the film gate (i.e. all the way down into the slot below the gate when the camera is held upside down) will keep the sprocket holes out of the way. I use a business card over the film gate and sprocket holes to load the camera.

I've never had a problem with modern film spools in either of my IIICs. Only time I've ever had a problem with film feeding is when I forget to trim the film as shown on the plate on the bottom of the camera.

Hi 2f/2f I'll try your method. I used to have a IIIc that had been factory converted to a IIIf and it had the exact same problem as with my II.
2f/2f if it's not too much to ask could you maybe start a thread where you illustrate your method, I'm there's other people than me experiencing the same problem and a "how to avoid" would be greatly appreciated.

I have no problem loading films in my leica (I always thought it was rather easy). The problem is that no matter how careful I load the camera I still get the sprocket holes showing at the bottom of each exposure.

For the business card thing, maybe I will try out the video camera on my new cell phone. The phone has been sitting in a drawer since the company gave it to me for free a year and a half ago. My old one finally busted after three years (got drowned in ceviche juice), so I made the switch a few days ago. I am not sure how to shoot video yet, or if I can even get it off of the phone once I have shot it, but I will give it a try. If not that, maybe the thingy on my computer can do it.
