So, sooner or later, Hasselblad will upgrade the CFV100. Here‘s What I hope for:
1. implement the IBIS from the X2D…and the 4 and 6 shot multi shot capabilities.
2. make the back so it can be mounted either horizontally of vertically on either the 907x or a V body, like you could with a Phase One V mount Back.
3. Number 2 means that the body shape would have to be less ” swoopy” than the current model, more squared off like an A-12 film back. Ideally we can keep the tilt up rear screen but the mechanism would have to be more mechanically complex to allow for tilt to be available horizontally or vertically.
4…one thing that is probably not needed…a larger sensor such as the Sony sensor from the IQ4-150. The large sensor only really matters if using the back on a legacy body. a larger sensor would likely be incompatible with most of the current XCD lenses due to coverage circle.ill keep the smaller sensor rather than paying the ridiculous price that Phase One asks for their version.
