I'm working on opening a community darkroom in Budapest, Hungary. Doing it on a shoe-string budget, so if anyone has anything that they would be willing to donate from; enlargers/trays/dev tanks/easels to consumables like; paper/film/emulsion (expired is still great), it would all be greatly appreciated.

Drop me a msg if you have anything you'd like to give a new life in new darkroom. I can provide updates with pictures of your donated item in its new home

Thanks Peter. I'm going to start posting more as the project gathers momentum. I also have a bunch of questions, and will be seeking advice from this forum over the coming weeks.

We already have our premises (a 93 square meter basement), and now we're just finalising design/layout before the real work begins.

Thankyou! I'll send you a pm this afternoon. I'll be in the UK in March, and I also have friend/family living there so might be able to pick something up. Poland is a bus away, so again, a trip might be a possibility. Of course any postage would be at my expense.

I will (of course) be paying for shipping. I can't ask for donated equipment, and then expect others to also be out of pocket.

there are better things to take pictures of in Budapest than a darkroom!

The idea is to shoot film in Budapest (or anywhere), then drop by the darkroom to develop the film/make prints/contact sheets. We're located a few minutes walk from the szabadság híd (liberty bridge)
