I'm very, very, excited! I've finally found a developer film combo that I can dedicate myself to. I've recently been on a hunt for an 8x10 film/dev combo for contact printing and was recommended by Bill Troop FP4+ (EI200) in FX-1. It's awesome! Perfectly Sharp. Very Luminous. Tonally lush. Man, what a great feeling. I'm tray processing the film in FX-1 at 68F. Agitate first 40 seconds then 10 sec every 2 minutes. (Agitation consists of removing film from tray, letting drain, placing back in rotated 180deg. Normal Process SBR 7 was 15 minutes. I will now conduct serious tests with BTZS now that I know I love the look. In fact I was debating buying an 8x10 enlarger but will instead search for either an 11x14 or 14x17 camera.
Thanks all for you your help along the way here.
