Hey,
I'm thinking about ways to make a tilt shift lens for my 67. I'm very early in the process, still kicking around ideas. Right now I'm thinking about just making a cheap plumping part prototype. My question is: would a 3x4 large format lens be a good way to go? 4x5? Is large format not going to work for some reason? The flange focal distance for the 67 is about 85mm. I'm really open to any advice you might have. Thanks
I don't know about shift, if you need it, but here is how I made a 150mm F2.8 tilt for my P67. It works rather well. You need a "slim" Xenotar for this, not the fat version. The thinner Xenotar has a smaller diameter rear element and is found in many cine-Xenotar mounts. Fine lens. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hR5XpwbFKa0
I've made two front standards for mine. One using wood, and another using a macro bellows, and cokin holder. Love the bellows rack as it makes focusing so much less cumbersome and actually allows my to hand-hold a lot easier.
