From what I've seen here, Ilford HP5 PLUS, is still being produced but the price is very high for a 50' (foot) roll, US$240 plus from U.S. sellers which will give three full rolls for the A70 cassettes, plus five feet, more or less.

I suggest you make a reusable leader and a tail out of used 70mm to save frames in each roll.

I need to see if I can get someone to send me some trashed 70mm for such a purpose, again.

Also, India and those with foresight and fortunately to have bought and stored many rolls and, in my case, a roll of Tri-x that came in an A70 back, yet to be tested for prior use and in a large partial roll in a 70mm loader.

I still have to order one of the Plus-x areo rolls from India, 2006 dated but you never know when a second or even third loader could pop up; I'd like to have a couple 70mm loaders on hand just to avoid changing rolls.

Cheers

Occasionally I'll find some expired bulk 70mm. I did get some Plus-X from India as my tester film. It's good enough.

I don't shoot it as 70mm though, I slit it down to 120.
