I only have Silverfast 6 (so some 15 years old)...

The crops have exposure amplified in PS. Which has less shadow noise (you need to click on image to view full size)?

The light color in the shadow area of the zoomed-in images seems redder on the second sample. The first seems a little lighter than the second overall. Both of these areas seem black on both of the full-size pictures. Generally, there doesn't seem to be much difference between the two. If one of them is combined with two scans, it seems like a lot of work for little difference.

Do you have the original single scan? It would be interesting for me to play with it myself only if no edits were applied during the scan process or afterwards. (it was scanned flat.)

Only the crops have altered exposure in PS. Full frames are straight scans (only converted to jpg since flickr can't display tiffs).

What happened to the "large prints" suggestion and the concern about "waste time" ?

Has anyone attempted to ask questions directly from Epson (it's relatively easy from Hamrick)?
