I got great use out of this thing when shooting my Horseman SW612 system. I also used this with my rollei35. Its reasonably accurate, i put distance marks for 3/2ft in marker that can easily be removed with some alcohol.
I also have a leather case for it in storage, but the stitching wore out with use and it needs new threading.

$45 shipped?

I once loosened that screw and never could recalibrate it. Anyone knows the procedure?

My suggestion, if you have trouble, is to use measuring tape, and write in your own distances on a card with adhesive. Alternatively the watameter super is deadly accurate, rare, and dimmer. Bonus points for its industrial design, for me anyway.

If you put your own calibrated distance scale on the dial, it would no longer be faulty..
