Selling Voigtlander petzval lens ~270mm f3.2
According to serial number ( 7281 ) this lens was made in year 1858.
It is an early Voigtlander portrait lens without slot for waterhouse stops.
Glass is in very good / near mint condition , no scratches , no fungus , no separation. All threads undamaged , you can easly unscrew this lens. NO rack & pinion mechanism.

Next to Dallmeyer 3B for comaprison only. In other words...Dallmeyer not for sale.
I made oversized aluminum flange for this baby. You can hexagone cut if with hand saw if it is too large for your lensboard. Also cup , not pretty but do the job.

Last picture is a sample shot made on 5x7. This is sharp and fast lens. Image has great clarity and smooth fallof characteristic for optics made by BIG name manufacturers.
While my little daughter was born recently, i need some extra money now so i would like to sell this great lens at lower price than usual. My lose is your gain
