I went to Rayko today. They had two Voigtlander lenses (no NOKTON). They said that nobody in the bayarea were buying them, so the were not taking any more home.
I guess that it's impossible to find any Voigtlanders here in SF. It's too bad that no shops in a city like SF is selling them .
I cannot help with the specific question. However, you can probably find a good, cheap camera like a Canon AE-1 Program with a 50mm 1.4 somewhere in S.F. for far less than you'd spend on that lens. Then you'd have an arguably better low light photography tool as well just by virtue of having an SLR.
