Voigtlander Brillant TLR (Metal f/4.5) straps and hood/filters

Hi, I have the earlier all-metal Voigtlander Brillant TLR with Skopar 75/4.5 lens. I really enjoy using it due to its diminutive size while offering good quality results, however I have trouble finding the correct accessories for it.

1) Straps: it has two rounded knob type of strap lugs (see attached photo), but I cannot find a strap connector that fits. It's different from the Rolleiflex, and different from Mamiya/Hasselblad types. What type should I look for?

2) Hood and filter: there are conflicting info online about 29mm vs 30.5mm. I measured with caliper, and it seems to be 28.5mm inner threads and 30.5mm outer rim size for push-on. Do you have any success in finding the hood and filters?

I solved the strap problem by looking at some photos off ebay (as below). Basically you just need a leather strap (I have a few blanks at hand), a hole puncher and one sharp Xacto knife.

I have the later version with the combined focusing viewing taking lenses. Mine has a different strap setup. I just shot mine for the first time yesterday and as you say, it is light and handy. I had another one years ago and found its weak spot. Be very careful when you use a tripod. Do not use one that has a very long threaded end and screw it in too far. Plus, the receiver for the tripod stud on the bottom of the camera is nothing more than a nut baked into the bakelite bottom. Don't ask me how I know????

I think I would opt for the push on filters and hood since you can always expand or contract slightly and make them fit. I don't have a hood for mine but do use the push-on yellow filter that comes in the cameras little side compartment.

I will contact filterfind to get a slip-on to Series V adapter. Tim comes to local camera shows regularly, so I can test out the fit. I have several Series V filters and hood to use.

Another option for strap lugs is to find split key rings, like the kind you use on your keychain, but smaller diameter. You can connect any variety of other strap lugs to those. It worked for my Autocord.

I think you're on the right path. I use a push-on adapter for series VI filter on my Super Ikonta B and it works fine. I also have a couple small adapters to work with series VI filters on other camers. The nice thing about these push-on adapters is you can use a screw in lens hood to hold the series VI filter in place.
