I recently got around to repairing my grandfathers old vitessa, which had a rattling sound coming from inside. I figured out that both the lens and mirror from the range finder had popped out and needed to be reattached, which was done with very little issue. Now, however, the rangefinder does not work. The image is vertically inaccurate, and I think fairly horizontally inaccurate too, tho I haven’t tested that much yet. The mirror is attached to a piece of plastic that is held in place by a screw, and can be adjusted by loosening or tightening three screws on the outside. The piece in my camera is glued to the body of the range finder, and will not be adjusted by the screws. Is this how it’s supposed to be? Should I remove the glue to adjust it properly? Another factor could be that I attached the mirror badly, and that I have to reattach it. The photos I took were from before I glued the mirror. The large black screw holds the triangular piece of plastic, and the three small screws around it are used to adjust it. Please give any advice, whether about how to remove the glue, or how to properly attach the mirror. Thanks!
