Man the price on these has really gone up on these guys, I got mine for $300 a few years back. I'd buy another one because I like the way it renders but I also prefer how it looks aesthetically over the new version

I like the look of this ver. l Nokton 50mm better myself. The new ones are pricier and this lens is an affordable way to get some fast
Leica compatible glass. I am selling this to fund a Pentax 67, though I will probably regret letting it go later.

Sample photos taken with M6 and 50 Nokton. File size greatly reduced to post..........

I think this LTM version is the same optically as the newer M version. That means its a super-duper performer. Asking price is pretty good; I noticed they were a little cheaper about a year ago, but if you're a 50mm person, this lens will definitely earn its keep, even among all the great 50s available to us today. Its that good. Of course, you could always seek out the new APO Summicron, but that runs about $8200 more than this deal of a lens.

Photos of the 50mm Nokton mounted on a couple of my older Leicas. A little large on the lllF but works great.
Fits beautifully on an M body in this case an M4.
