Hard to find, long discontinued......Type B has a mount height of 7 mm, works with the Bessa T or Nikon Rangefinders but will also work well with flat topped cameras like the Leica screw mounts and the Leica M's, Bessa R, R2, R2S, R2C.

A small question of vocabulary. A hot shoe is supposed to have a contact for flash synch. Anyway, buyers can see what they buy.

you are absolutely correct not a hot shoe but designed to mount accessories such as a meter or finder.
