Purchased today at an estate auction for $25.00 U.S.-
Voightlander Bessa serial #H556675
Compur-Rapid shutter (aperture 3.5- 22 speeds 1 to 1/400 +T&B)
Helomar lens 1:3.5 f=10.5cm with filter ring mounted (no filters)

It took a bit of time but to find info on the internet, but what I found indicates that this camera dates to 1936. Could someone verify this?

Shutter moves thru all aperture ranges smoothly and speeds change consistently. Will do the test with a penlight tomorrow when I bring the light home from work. Q-tip & windex on the viewfinder windows helped a lot. I plan on using as much as possible in the future. So, as a relative newcomer to the hobby( just over 2 yrs), I am turning to others on this site asking again for your input/thoughts/comments just as I did with the Minolta Autocord a few weeks back.
This now gives me a 6x9 camera to join the 6x6 Zeiss Ikonta for use & enjoyment in my hobby. In closing, thanks to everyone

I have a somewhat newer version and shot it for the first time this thanksgiving holiday. The color rolls are going to the lab today but the b/w will probably take longer to process since I do it myself

I got mine off of ebay for about $40 and it came with the vaskar (I think) lens. I somehow lucked out in finding a color skopar lens and compur rapid shutter on ebay also for another $40. I sent them all to Carol Miller at Flutot's camera repair and she made the switch and did a CLA.

Had a fun time framing the 6x9 shots and when the results come back from the lab I'll see how well I did with the rest and post some pics.

Alan.
