Does anyone have experience with this lens? I picked up a pristine on in Canon FD mount today. Although it looks like it was both gently and rarely used, I assume it was one of the old series I lenses since it has the brech lock mount.

Thanks,
Ed

I have the same lens in Nikon mount and have taken some decent shots with it. It usually travels with me when I am packing light and planning to use an SLR. As zooms go it is pretty good.

It's a very good lens. Used properly, it'll give you professional caliber results. I have three of them, and have been using them professiomnally, since they came out, in the mid 80's. We have all kinds of info on it, in the Kiron Klub.
