i have never used the vit c with rose hips ..
i just get the plain vanilia ...
not sure if the rose hips will alter your final chemistry ..
i would imagine it might ..
I have used the stuff with rose hips a long time ago and it worked. What will it cost you to try it? Use it as ascorbic acid, mix a batch and see if it blackens a bit of exposed film or printing paper. Rose hips are one of nature's strongest sources of Vitamin C and have IIRC some other vitamins as well. The solution will be a little pink I think.
