I recently had an associate sell his house and go into final retirement. He was an IBM employee back in the heyday, when the 360 was king. He left me with a fair amount of his remaining technical materials and I need to get rid of it. A lot of stuff about APL and a bunch of other books. I made a youtube video of all of them. Pick out what you want and I'll weigh it for you to pay shipping. The rest will go in the dumpster. See video:

Ah, the 360. After Sputnik a professor of astronomy was put in charge of the university’s 360 at my undergraduate university. On an especially hot humid August day after turning the lights out in the computer room (the computer occupied the space of the room along with card sorter) he then, in the interest of economy, turned off the air conditioner. iBM guys, black pants, black ties, white dress shirts, were there for months with alligator clips to make 360 once again operational.

Please clarify then, what did you mean by “pick out what you want and I’ll weigh them for you”? I’m confused. If you had a change of heart and it’s all or nothing I completely understand.

No, but there's a lot of books here, and to cherry pick a tiny few makes the rest of the batch that much less attractive to somebody else. I just want as many out of here at once as possible. There's a dumpster 40 feet from my front door and if I have to fool too much with this, then I'd just as soon carry over the whole kit and caboodle and chunk it.

Not that my opinion is that worthy, but I would prefer to carry lighter packs to the post office and just dump the heavy stuff. Just my 2¢...
