$275 - Vintage English Half-Plate Camera with Book Form Holders
If there is a lovelier form than the the classic English half-plate woodie, I am yet to meet it. This particular example would need a new bellows before use, no getting around it. There are the common wood splits on the bottom but with the new bellows the camera would be fine for use. Body has a good original finish - no checking, peeling or other horrors. Just a century or so of honest love is showing. Lens is spectacular. It is as clean as I have ever seen for a camera of this age. The lens is original to the camera, as are the two book form holders. As you may know, I usually sell for charity or for the benefit of APUG. In this case I am not yet sure what will become of the money from this sale. I may line my own filthy pockets! Price is $275. If anyone has a different idea of the value, please sing out and then we will apply the usual APUG good old boys (and girls) network discount. Enjoy!
