Hi,

Have you had success using a B60 to 58mm step-down ring on your Hasselblad? Mostly, do you experience vignetting when using 80mm and longer focal lengths?

I know that the 67mm step up ring is a better solution, but have a number of B+W 58mm filters that I'd prefer not to buy again in a larger size.

Thanks!

I've not had problems with 67mm filters with a Hasselblad adapter on the 80 and 120mm lenses, but I did notice a tiny bit of vignetting with my 50mm lens when focusing on a fairly close scene (2-5 meters in focus). I think you're asking for trouble stepping down to 58mm.

Using a step down ring is asking for vignetting. You may be able to get away with it on longer lenses 120+ and may be able crop corners on an 80. Not going to have a lot of luck on shorter. Unless you like the effect(Sam Wang?)
B60 to 67 also allows you to get a Series 8 retaining ring and use Series 8's.The S8 is a 67mm thread.
