"Viewscan", "Vuescan" spellings found on the forum

It looks like I may need Vuescan software to go trough some family old photos.
I searched for information on on the forum, and found many entries for "Viewscan" that I thought were meant to be about "Vuescan", the hamrick product.

Is that correct, that is, many folks casually recommend "Viewscan" when they actually mean the "Vuescan" product?

Should be VueScan for the software - ViewScan is a microfilm scanner (works also with 35mm; 120mm and others).

Thanks, that 's what I was reading.

So, folks do like Vuescan... and, if I plunge into 4x5 (cautionsly) , it may come handy.

and some of us dumb sheets can't spell correctly.
