I have a S2 and a new to me Voigtlander 35mm f2.5. For a viewfinder for that lens I use the viewfinder for my Retina IIIc which covers 35 and 85mm lenses; the IIIc has interchangeable front elements. Now. The viewfinder will not really fit the accessory shoe; it would foul the shutter speed dial. So I used a hotshoe to PC connector adapter; works fine although the viewfinder is pretty high.... The Kodak viewfinder has parallax adjustments, which would need to be calibrated for the greater distance between the viewfinder and lens' optical axes, and, while nice for 35mm, looks a little squinty for 85.
The Kodak might be cheaper and more available than the Nikkor, mine came as part of a kit with the Retina, both 35 and 85mm elements, bubble cases for both, lens shade for the 50mm Heligon (a rarity in itself), various odds and ends, and a leather gadget bag. All for considerably less than $200....and everything works.
Wouldn't it be nice if the Voigtlander Kontur finder were re-issued in format for wide angle and tele lenses? I have the 135mm Nikkor and its aux viewfinder ... like looking down a drainpipe!
