Here's a Horseman 980, if you want some idea of what one looks like (lousy pic, I know). It's not lightweight (2.5kg as shown), so I tend to use my Speed Graphics more. But it does have a good range of movements, interchangeable lenses with their own cams, and a Graflok back so you can use a wide selection of backs in addition to 2x3 sheet film.

Nice to know that the Mamiya backs fit a Graflok, BTW, just wish I had known $99 earlier.

And for various architechtural work, in fact. front rise can be a wonderful thing, as well as swing when shooting a 3/4 shot of a building.

Tim,
Most, if not all that I've bought on ebay through the years need refoaming, I have sources for backs cheaply, less than $10 usually. If I'm going to refoam a back anyway, why spend the extra $$$? (I have a half dozen or so waiting for me to get to, probably once it starts getting dark earlier)

As to the front standard, it could probably just squeeze onto a 4x4 lensboard, with a little creativity.

You can always sell me a couple of them backs, I have a couple of refoam kits waiting to be used. I have four 645 backs and 2 67 backs for my rb.

What do you want to fit on a pacemaker 4x5? The front part of an RB? I think I have missed something.

Of course. I have a body for a rb67, it doesn't fire. I have both a Speed and a B&J 5x7 camera. The thought of a 90 or 65 with that quality piece of glass, built in shutter, with the coverage for 4x5.... nice.
