Vienna in decades

Brilliant. Photos that include advertising always create such a nice historical reference. Virtually nothing beats it. That, and fashion, probably.

Nice scenes, and so interesting. Vienna is an incredible city. A minor contribution from the Schönbrunn Palace in March of 1979.

In Vienna, not as much was destroyed during the war as in German cities in particular, so the majority of historical buildings remained.
 
Stop signs in Vienna are in English? Or is "stop" a common abbreviation for "stoppen"?
Anyway, you have a good eye for interesting items in scenes.

Yes, STOP on the traffic board means stop.

By the way, the future governor of California, who can be seen here, is also an Austrian.

 
I really enjoy looking at your clever juxtapositions.

I have some images like that and when ever I'm going through my own work say "I need to make more images like that..."
