I don't know if this has been posted before, but a fascinating interview of Victor Hasselblad on Swedish TV from 1967.

You're welcome. It is always great to hear the voice and stories from the subjects themselves. And I learned a lot of things I did not previously know. I was a bit surprised that his house was full of paintings on the wall, not a single photograph--at least what was shown in the profile.

i would have liked to see his post-war shoppe before the age of medium format and the kmv knock-offs popular in skandinavia he commissioned and sold

Somewhat of an aside, but he says that the inital working camera was developed for the Air Force in 1943 or so. Sweden was technically neutral in WWII, yes? Although leaning or at least accommodating to Germany? What would the Swedish Air Force have been doing, for whom, at this time? Or were the cameras supplied directly to a fighting air force?
