I want to get back what I spent for this piece of crap. I like the DTL 1000 in concept, but this is a really ugly example. Someone took it apart, spray-painted the outside black with vehicle primer, touched up the spots they missed with wood paint, and chipped the pentaprism when they put it back together. The shutter works, but the meter is stuck on, since the mechanism which activates it is stuck in that position. The chips are visible in the viewfinder. No lens.
I will entertain any serious offer, sale or trade.
the only thing that would make this ad more enticing is a picture of this gem. As it is, one is tempted to offer to give you $10 towards the postage where I take it off your hands for free so that I can, if the shutter really is working, donate it to the local college to help out photo students.
I would certainly understand if you would rather not.

Like I say, I want to get my money back out of it. I think I paid ten bucks and shipping for it... As for the shutter, it worked well last time I used the camera but now it's hanging open at 1 second--I wouldn't have even listed it if I knew that.
