J&C paper was a rebranded offering from J&C photograpic. J&C quit trading a couple of years or so ago. The paper was sourced from a few different manufactures depending on exactly which J&C paper it was as there were several different kinds. The Polywarmtone (VC) was held to be Forte, the Vario Classic (VC) was ADOX, and the Nuance (graded) was said to be Efke. They are as archival as any other silver gelatin fiber paper if processed to archival standards.

The Vario was a particular favorite VC of mine, and isn't available in the US any longer AFAIK.
