vertical VC II meter usage?

I was wandering if anyone has used a Voigtlander VC meter II vertically? I was planning on getting one to use on the vertical cold shoe of a Mamiya C220. I thought perhaps something to do with metering the wrong angle of light or something? (Also posted at RFF - not sure where is better to ask!)

Looks like I found my own answer: it works the same with no different scene weightings if anyone was wondering.
