I just found an unexposed roll of Kodak Verichrome Pan in a bag of old camera gear. Is it worth using? Do I need to do any adjustment to exposure due to its age?

It is very resilient, but Melba can be a warm place for a goo part of the year, and VP was made for a long time.

Consider shooting it at EI50 or 25, and then also consider over developing to some degree. There is likely going to be base fogging, so 25% longer in the developer may be appropriate to build development and get enough contrast range in the negative to get the usable image area of the HD curve placed above the base fog.
