Hi,

I am planning to build a small darkroom "tent" like the one that community member smieglitz showed in (there was a url link here which no longer exists). He give some more invaluable advice on this in the latter parts of (there was a url link here which no longer exists).

My tent will probably be about 5' x 4' x 6.5' (l x w x h).

Rather than carrying with me on location I will be setting it up, in a much less interesting manner, in my garage. It will be portable, but not ported.

I will be using the darkroom for enlarging and printing, so I will need some positive pressure ventilation. I had thought to use a darkroom fan Dead Link Removed, on the inside of the tent, hanging from the internal PVC frame in some way. I am a bit worried that the fan will be too heavy and noisy though, ignoring for a moment the fact that the fan is designed to exhaust air rather than pull it in.

Can anyone suggest another kind of fan, perhaps one with an air filter and which I can make light-tight with a louvre Dead Link Removed? There are a lot of websites which talk about fans, but I am rather overwhelmed.

Cheers,
Rory
