I almost exclusively shoot Provia 100f for my stereo photos, but recently obtained acquired a roll of Velvia 100 (by accident, I happened to go into a photographic store in Treviso and to my amazement they had a roll).
I've never used Velvia 100 before but perhaps I should have, and would appreciate advice from those who have used both Velvia 100 and Provia 100f:
(i) Is there anything I should look out for when exposing Velvia 100, compared to Provia 100f? I understand that the dynamic range of the Velvia might be a little less than Provia .... true? Might Velvia be better in hazy sun rather than full sun?
(ii) Is there any difference in the processing, in particular the First Development time? (I'm mainly using the Adox kit at the moment.)
Of course I should get several rolls and do all kinds of tests, but I do not have this luxury and would like to make sure I get close to the "best" exposure/processing as possible with this one roll. I've shot Ektachrome 100 a couple of times but prefer the colour rendering of Provia (a bit warmer).
