Hi, i am experimenting with Ziatype printing on vellum. when i coat it, the vellum will curl dramatically. i can't make the coated vellum flat. So some part of the image will blur because of the curl. The only way that solve this problem is using a dry mount press. I set it to the lowest temperature. I just curious will the heat fogging the image? and are there some better solutions can solve curl?

A dry mount press will flatten the paper even if it is not heated; this is how I flatten thin paper stocks that have been sensitized. Exposing your paper in a vacuum frame is another solution, and a good contact frame may suffice for smaller prints.

Ok, i see. I am printing in the school. so i couldn't access to a vacuum frame. I guess i will go for dry mount press without heat. Do you think heat will affect the image? i can't see problem so far.
