Varnish for wet collodion....

Greetings! I try to make a varnish for collodion plates based on gum arabic . Someone of you have any formula? Thank you

The only issue I can think of is that the gum will absorb moisture allowing eventually some penetration of damaging substances like fungus or chemicals.
