Hi,
OK, we need a British made camera in here.
I have a Van Neck 9x12 Press camera. Trying to find out the dimensions of the metal single sided plate holder for it. This camera does not use rails to hold the grooves as on a slide in type plate holder, the holder is simple laid in place in the camera film gate and springs on the fold up panel on the rear hold the plate in place. But it seems like a grooved holder would work if its long enough to cover from one end of the felt light trap material to the other.
Anyone have a Van Neck with a holder that seems to fit that they can measure for me?
Thank you,

Just in case it helps someone or even me, the Van Neck press camera seems to take a holder that is 100x150mm Edge groove not important.
The Zeiss 665/7 holder seems to fit so I'm looking for those.
Thanks,
Robert

Sorry, but I've just bagged a set of seven plate holders in very good nick with the appropriate parallel sides from a site in Germany - about a tenner a holder which is good, but I'll need to find sleeves. The holder size is exactly 140mm x 100mm x 3.5mm.The darkslide extends out to about 155mm - hence the cutaway on the back. After several years hunting, I was fortunate to acquire an excellent example a few months ago, but am still having some difficulty in finding a GGS and sleeves.

This is an image from a VN Press camera taken in 1958, with Metz electronic flash and probably Ilford Selochrome Pan plate, although it could have been sheet as a couple of cameras had been kitted with sleeves for the holders.
