I'm start using Pyrocat-HD and want to test the film with BTZS method. I'm going to buy one densitometer. X-rite 361T is what I'm looking at. I don't do the alternative printing now just the AZO and VC paper. Just wonder that this model is right for me or just buy the color model with blue channel.

You don't need the UV reading capability of the X-Rite 361-T for AZO and VC paper. Blue reading is what you want for AZO. For VC papers the issues are very complicated, but overall Blue still works better than any other color, though how much precision you can get depends on many factors.

For alternative printing you need UV reading to do precise work with BTZS. I don't know too much about the 361-T, but for some reason I am thinking that it has UV capability, but has an Ortho rather than Blue mode.
