Is there a way to use a threaded 30mm filter on a yashica 635? Tried a series V adapter but the thread makes it to high for the clamp to screw down.

Can you open up the threaded mount and get the glass filter out? Then put that in your series adapter.

If people put it together, people can take it apart. That's my approach. And I have a large crate full of pieces and parts to prove it!

Look for the two slots for a spanner wrench, usually on the front side epecially if it is threaded. Or a piece of wire inside a lip on one side that is a primitive c-ring that can be pried out. Or the Rollei method of looking solid but two parts that screwed together- put the filter between two large rubber stoppers and unscrew- usually takes decent pressure and maybe putting the filter in the freezer for a bit to change the parts sizes just enough to let it unscrew easier.
