I'm about to use this combo for the first time to do some portrait work and I was wondering if there is anything "special" I should know?

I'll be rating the film at 50 and using a silver umbrella.

Thanks,
david b

I use Pan F+ this way all the time, rating the film at 50 - just meter and shoot. What developer are you using? Some say that the slower films are higher in contrast, but I haven't noticed it in a controlled lighting situation.

I've found 25-32 more accurate with traditional developers with this film in controlled lighting.... I've also found this to be true in outdoor situations, using incident metering. Very easy to lose the shadows. I haven't been using it just lately, but that is my recollection.
